Terrain Conforming Trekking Pole

Capstone Project / Medical Devices · 2025-2026

TerraLock is an adaptive trekking pole that uses granular jamming to conform to complex terrain on every step. A vacuum pump stiffens a granule-filled membrane the moment the pole touches down, giving hikers with cerebral palsy a wider, locked footprint instead of a single sliding tip.

Refrigerator Flood Protection Concept

Human-Centered Design · 2026

Designed the product concept of a fast-deploy waterproof bag that seals around refrigerators to protect them during floods, helping restaurants prevent costly losses. Followed a human-centered approach to create a commercial product that would prepare New York City for a disaster.

Rapid Button Pressing Four-Bar Linkage Robotic Arm

Robotics / Mechanism Design · 2025

A machined four-bar linkage that drives an acrylic paddle between three button pairs on a playing field, designed for the shortest travel time in the smallest volume. Third highest score in a class of 105 students.

Manufactured Racecar Model

Manufacturing · 2025

A scale Formula 1 model where every part came out of a different manufacturing process: a silicone body cast in a printed mold, PLA wheels injection molded into a machined aluminum die, turned axles, and a printed cockpit.

Magnetic RC Car Suspension System

Design & Prototyping · 2024

Spearheaded the redesign of a high traffic museum exhibit featuring magnetic RC cars, modeling the magnetic track and optimizing a custom suspension system through iterative prototyping so the cars could hold the track through its full curvature.

Wing Crossbar Mount

Aerospace / Design · 2024-2025

Designed the 3D printed wing mount for Columbia AIAA's Design/Build/Fly aircraft, the single part that joins both wing spars to the fuselage crossbar. Iterated the geometry in SolidWorks against FEA and load testing to keep it light without giving up structural integrity.

Multi-Shape Compatiable Robotic Intake Mechanism

Robotics / Mechanism Design · 2022-2023

Led the design of a motorized intake that picks up both game pieces of the 2023 FRC season, an inflatable fabric cube and a rigid rubber cone, from the floor with one mechanism, for a world championship level robot with FRC Team 694, StuyPulse.
